Copy the following text, paste it into a wordpad document and email it to yourself.
Picture combining using Paint.net
1- Create a folder in your "My Pictures" documents called "paint dot net"
2- Open firefox and save two pictures into your "paint dot net" folder. One of an animal and one of an illogical background for the animal.
ie- polar bear and desert.
2- Start Paint.net
3- Open both pictures in Paint.net : Click File/ open/ my pictures/ paint dot net
4- Erasing the background:
a) Click on the thumbnail of the animal picture in the top right corner to be erased
b) Choose eraser from the toolbar
c) Adjust the eraser size with brush width in the top left
d) Erase the background adjusting the eraser size if needed
5- Copying and pasting onto the background:
a) click edit- select all
b) click edit- copy
c) click on the background thumbnail (top right)
d) click edit-paste in new layer(keep canvas size)
e) adjust size using corner handle (make image smaller: + / -)
6- Save picture- File/save as/ choose jpeg/ flatten/ save
